Chappe Watt

Chappe is at the heart of a communications revolution, driven by military requirements. Meanwhile in Birmingham, James Watt is inventing the Industrial Revolution. In October 1794, Watt, his partner Matthew Boulton and their sons reconstituted their company, dedicated to making steam engines.
